It’s not a discussion if women go through discrimination on their jobs. Since the 1960s women have been getting paid less than men. The reason being is because people think women should only be housewives. They have the aspect that women should stay home; cook, clean, and watch after the kids while their husband go out in the workforce and bring the check home. Women normally choose low paying jobs, because they don’t give them that many hours because they think women need the time to take care of their family. Some of the jobs women get are the same as men but still women get paid less. People want women to work but they do not want to pay them what they deserve for their labor. Women and men should be paid the same amount for the same job description.

I believe women and men are the same and should be treated the same. If a woman is not good enough to make equal pay as man then maybe they’re not good enough to have children for the men. Women have a lot of responsibilities not only at work but in the household along. At home women have to make sure the kids have eaten, done their homework, and put to bed. Also women have to make sure that there is food on the table for her husband when he gets home. There is only one job that I can recall that both men and women are treated the same, get paid the same, and they do the same job is new people. If I have the same work skills as the next man I want to be treated the same given the same respect on the job and pay.
