Everyone has seen them. We work with them every day. These people are our family members. They attend church and participate in church activities. I’m sure someone even has a classmate. They’re best known to play sports. What am I saying? Who are these people? Everyone knows someone who is a lesbian, a homosexual, or a gay person. We have seen it on the news, gay rights and gay marriage for homosexuals. I may have a lot of disagreements with this; I strongly think that gay marriage should be banned from every state in the United States. Don’t get me wrong, we live in a country filled with people that want their equal rights. I don’t even discriminate against gay people and their relationships. In fact, I think that’s its cool for them to do their thing and be happy, but marriage is taking it too far. Gay marriage was never intended to be a part of those equal marriage rights. Marriage has always and will always be intended for a man and a woman. I have my reasons for why I think that same sex marriage should still be banned from the states. Gay marriage goes against religion. It will affect our future in many ways such as how our children will look at this and think it’s ok, gay community’s may increase, Gay marriage goes against religion. I’m not being rude but only speaking truth when I say that in the Holy Bible, scriptures clearly state that no man of the same sex should be together. From a Christian’s point of view, according to Lehman Strauss from article, Homosexuality: The Christian Perspective says that homosexuality is the manifestation of sexual desire toward a member of one’s own sex or the erotic activity with a member of the same sex. In the bible text, the term sodomy is also a synonym used for the word homosexual. Deuteronomy 23:17, 18 of the Holy Bible states, There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel. Thou shalt not bring the hire of a whore, or the price of a dog, into the house of the LORD thy God for any vow: for even both these are abomination unto the LORD thy God. Yes this means that being a whore and being gay go hand in hand these are sins that God will not accept.

Third, bless them with God’s Spirit in pureness, and holiness. These scriptures can be found in Zechariah 12:10; Hebrews 10:29 of the holy bible.

Looking at how same sex marriage is an abomination to the Lord just like a drunk, is not what the Lord wants people to do with themselves. We all witness someone who is gay but goes to church or believes in him on the other hand, doesn’t really know much about God and still thinks it’s ok to be that way when they are harming themselves in the long run. They are making Satan pleased when he knows that one of his demons is taking over God’s children. If God wanted man and man to be married, he would have created a man and a man together, but he did the opposite with a man and a woman which was made from that man.

These children are supposed to be born knowing that its cool to be gay is wrong. Trying to gain popularity for that is absurd. Children will go to school looking at the same gender having these unethical desires. When I was a young girl, I was grossed out to look at boys and let alone look at girls us even more disturbing.

He goes to write that children in stable, married households can be better off than those who aren’t because both parents can handle decision-making and parenting without worry. This is true but is does not give homosexuals the right to get married and raise children witnessing to their parents sexual tastes of the same sex. They are harming these children.

A gay marriage will not help stabilize communities. It will only stir up more confusion. I strongly think that they would be in danger living a community that despises gay marriage. A kid sees a gay that cross dresses walking down the street and scares the poor children when he says hey and the child hears a man’s voice but sees a woman. This can do something a child such as fear and a list of questions to their parents. So how can this make it more stable? Another example, my next door neighbors are two married women that openly show their affection in the public. I see them kissing and my child notices that as well. I am first offended that they would do that so openly. Second, I am outraged that my child sees two women who are married kissing. As a mother I want to protect my child from this thing but also inform them it’s not right to do this as well.

Even though you state that gay marriage is against “religion” everyone does not believe the same thing. I do not agree with gay marriage either but you have to understand that everyone does not believe the same way we do. I think you should revise some of your sentences too because some are short and choppy.
Gay marriage is something else. I don’t think being gay is wrong in any way. People can’t control their feelings. If they want to be together forever, let them. If they want to be that way, why can’t people let them put a label on it? All it is, is proof to show that they are going to be together for ever. But maybe if that’s the case, besides calling it marriage, it can be something else. I don’t know what it would be, but it wouldn’t have to be marriage.
I do not agree with gay marriages nor gay relationships.But I also feel that everyone is entitled to there own opinion and can make their own relationship decisions.
I agree with you. I mean kids now days just do whatever thier friend is doing and are scared to have a mind of their own so if gays become more popular I think alot of kids will try to join the gay scene to get more attention from others. Also in your last sentence I think you meant to put is even more disturbing instead of us.
Personally it really doesn’t matter to me if gay marriage is banned or not. I believe that everyone has their own way of living. Even if it is banned people are going to try to go some place else that allows it. I am not gay but I think people should just leave gays alone. We wouldn’t want no one coming in our life telling us that we can’t go with a certain person because of how they act or what they do.
I personally think you are putting gay people in their own box because you called them “them” but to me they are people just like us. Now don’t get me wrong I am against same sex marriages but i also can’t go against what the government has permitted.
Many childern today are being affected by being gay is okay. Chidren are like the old saying monkey see monkey do. If they see adults doing it, they automaticlly think that it is okay. But in paragraph 4 your 9th sentence you are contradicting yourself. You should say that it’s not cool to be gay, its wrong.
I say if they love each other who am i to say it is wrong. As the Beatles said “all we need is love.” I’m not gay but I still fell that everyone should have the chance to love one another regardless of there sex.
This is a very good intro, has a nice hook that pulls the reader in to the paper and makes them want to read more.
“Their best known to play sports.” This statement needs proof. It sounds as if you’re saying that most homosexual people are athletes. Don’t make a statement that you can’t back up with facts.
“Everyone knows someone who is lesbian homosexual, or a gay person.” This statement is redundant. Just say homosexual.
