Prolife means that under no or little circumstances a woman does not have a right to have an abortion. Prochoice means that it is the women’s decision whether or not to have an abortion.

A person should not be forced to have a baby if they don’t want it they should not have to live with that their entire life. People should be able to choice weather to have the baby or to just kill it. The fetus is not a baby yet so you are not really killing anything because it is not a person yet. A little girl should not have to carry a baby for 9 months just because she was raped she should get rid of that baby before it actually becomes something and a real person she will have to deal with the rest of her life.

But truthfully a mother does not have the right to kill an unborn child. It is not her right to say whether a child should be born or not. God is the only one that can make that decision and he wanted the mother to have that baby for a reason. If a person is raped then that does not give them the right to take that child’s life just because something bad happened to them. Abortion is punishing the child who could have had the chance to have a great life but instead you are punishing the child who had committed no crime, the person who should be punished is perpetrator not the baby. Adoption is a great thing and can be used to help so many people there are so many couples all around the United States that cannot have children and by you giving your child up for adoption you can change two people’s lives for the better. You can help the family who otherwise would never get to have children and you can give that child a life which they would have never had the chance to have otherwise. It may be a hard thing to do and it may not be something you want to do but life is hard and sometime you have to think of others and not just think about yourself. Things in life happen for a reason and having an abortion is taking someone life away from them who can’t defend themselves. Abortion is murder weather you believe it or not .You cant walk up to your kid one day and decided you want to kill them just because you don’t want to with them anymore. That is called murder which is the same thing as aborting a child. It is not your place to say to end that child life. Some people say that you should not have to live with the fact that you were raped and had a kid your whole life, but in all honestly there are long term effects when you have an abortion. You will have to live with the fact that you killed an innocent child and what would have happened to it if you would have let it live. You have to deal with that every single day.

Within the past few years a new bill has come up called the FOCA (Freedom of Choice Act) which is one of the most radical abortions bill ever brought up in legislation. If it is passes it will eliminate ever abortion restriction nationwide. It will eliminate all state laws that have to do with parental involvement in partial born abortion and any other protection. The FOCA will also make taxpayers money fund abortion. This bills with make it so you can have an abortion whenever you want even when the baby is alive. It will also allow you to have a still born abortion, where they suffocate and kill the baby after it has been born. Having this bill passed will also cause all faith bases hospitals to shut down because they will be forced to perform an abortion which is against their religion. The last thing this country needs is for hospitals to shut down. This bill Obama 100% supports. What is happening to our country where we think we can go around saying who can live and who can die. What gives us the power to do that? Nothing, nothing at all gives us that power we have no right. Another way abortion is getting in to the lime light is with the new health care bill that America has been waiting for. This bill will would fund abortions and support abortion. The only way that republican congress will vote on this bill is if they clear up the abortion policy. At this point congress is in trouble because not republican will vote on this bill and some democrats don’t support it either which is making people nervous about if this bill will just go up in flames.

I can’t even imagine if my mom even had thoughts of abortion. Life is such a precious thing. Even if you don’t want to keep the baby there are people who would love to have children and can’t. Adoption is always an option! I think you need to be more clear on the side you are on in your opening paragraph.
A few years back I found out that my mom had thought about having an abortion when she had me, but she decided not too. I’m glad she didn’t or else i wouldnt be here today. I can kind of relate to an unwanted pregnancy, but why can’t a mother have the choice of keeping the child or not? Is it really God’s decision to make that choice for her? I agree against abortion, but i was jus wondering why it was God’s decision not the mothers.
I agree with HJS901 there is plenty of options that u can chose to send your child. Plus you do not want to have an abortion because it leads up to serious health problems for women. Say for instance you where the child thinking your mother is about to have you in a 6 months you wouldnt want your mother to kill you so, do not have an aboortion.
My health teacher in high school told us that only 30% of rape victims actually get pregnant. And a majority of girls who get abortions are simply having one because they feel like it will mess up their lives. I hate abortion arguments with people who throw up the “But what if you’re raped?” Card. I mean, yeah that would be a horrible thing to have happen to you, but is it the babies fault? I don’t think so…Why punish yourself even more if you get raped and harm your body further by undergoing an abortion? It just doesn’t make sense…

i love your essay! i so agree with you . that even if a person gets rapped it doesnt mean that they have the choice to kill an unborn baby. taking life away from somebody that you dont even know is a sin and it is gods choice to make this decision. and if you do not want a child then you can give it to adoption. there are many people who kill to have a baby.
I honestly believe in what you are saying.. I am a strong christian, which has a lot to do with my beliefs. My sister, who is 15, is pregnant. When she told me I grew scared. I know my sister is a strong believer. She knows what she did was wrong, but i still was afraid. I didn’t say anything to her, but many teens make crazy choices when it comes to these things. Thankful she made the right choose, but i thank God for that. She is now 6 months pregnant & i know she lives with regret but she is still the same 15 year old i always knew & i honestly look up to her for being such a responsible child she needs to be. You have a great essay. Keep it up!
I love the opening quote. You do address some important issues in your argument because I have been in a situation where I had to face whether or not i wanted to keep my baby. I kept my child and glad I didnt take the easy way out and aborted him.
Abortion is a subject that i feel real strong about. God did intend for you to have that child and killing it is murder as well as the fact you are going against his will. I believe that you should not be capable of ending another persons life to better suit your needs. I definatly agree that it is murder. Just because the age or growth makes it incapable to defend itself does not mean that it is ok. I Completely agree with what you have said in your paper!
that first line is great, it really sets the mood for the rest of the paragraph. Another big line was the question”Where would you be if your mom did not choose life?” what a crazy question i couldn’t imagine if my parents didn’t choose life. It really gets you thinking and it really gives you a new appreciation for your family.

The opening quote is a strong statement in support of your stance. Be sure to mention your stance in the first paragraph. Also, the statement,” …there is no really good way to do it” should stand alone as a sentence.
The third sentence needs to be broken into two sentences. Choice should be choose. Spell out the number nine. You need to create some smooth transitions between paragraphs. It’s a little choppy.
