Welcome to Carol Case’s CommentPress blog site. If you aren’t familiar with a blog, the word became popular when web log was difficult to say – and a web log is just what it sounds like: a daily or weekly or somehow periodic journal or “log” that is entirely written on the web for others to read, share, comment on and enjoy.

Most blogs have comments that appear at the bottom, most recent ones first, and that’s good, but this one is different because it allows comments at the precise paragraph that the person is referring to thus making a conversation in context more possible.

You will notice that there are small wordcloud icons at the right of each of the paragraphs and a number associated with each paragraph to the left. If you click on the wordcloud you will see a box that allows you to place as much text in it as you wish. You may also reply to someone else’s comment by clicking on the link that says reply

It is recommended that you fill the box with your comment and try to be as clear as possible so that your meaning is understood.

Also remember not to type in ALL CAPS as that is considered YELLING!

I think that when doing this next semester, you should have a tutorial, to better teach students how to use this problem. I think the idea of this program is great, but when you dont know how to properly utilize it, it is then inefficient. Well sorry if i am being a pain Ms. Case, just figured i would throw out a suggestion.
